Here is a look at commemorative patches that were created in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 8 and humanity's first direct look at Earthrise:
  • Apollo 8 'Earthrise' 50th Anniversary Stamp Patch

Artist Tim Gagnon designed this limited edition patch, which was offered as part of Constellation's Earthrise 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Dec. 21, 2018. The patch was inspired by the 1969 U.S. postage stamp.

  • Bill and Valerie Anders commissioned this patch, which attendees received at the Anders' Apollo 8 50th anniversary gala at the San Diego Air and Space Museum on Dec. 20, 2018. The patch highlights the International Astronomical Union's recent naming of a crater as "Anders Earthrise."

Has anyone seen the Anders Earthrise Crater patch for sale or have a contact for the patch?

To my knowledge, the patch was only produced for the attendees at the San Diego Air and Space Museum gala.

All times are CT (US)
