Has anyone ever heard of the NASA HCTIS patch? There are several out there with names on it but none I recognize. Could it be a "movie" patch?

The state outline is that of West Virginia. The apple probably denotes teacher, student or education. Some Shuttle experiment, maybe. Don't think it's movie related.

The little gold star in the state map is in the general vicinity of Harrisville, West Virginia. The big red apple implies a school, perhaps in that town. The TIS portion of "HCTIS" may be an abbreviation of Teacher In Space.
