Soyuz MS-01 mission patchRussia's Soyuz MS-01 will launch to the International Space Station in June 2016. Anatoli Ivanishin of Roscosmos, NASA astronaut Kate Rubins and Takuya Onishi of JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) will join the Expedition 47/48 crew. The Soyuz MS-01 patch introduces the latest modification of the Soyuz spacecraft, in service for nearly 50 years. The ship is shown approaching the International Space Station, ready to deliver a new crew and start another expedition on the orbital facility. The number of the ship is depicted in bold characters to emphasize a new beginning: one that might one day lead to a mission to Mars, the planet subtly hiding behind the zero. The Soyuz MS-01 patch was designed by Jorge Cartes from Spain. © Roscosmos/Spacepatches.nl |

"MC" is the Cyrillic spelling; "MS" is the English spelling (Latin alphabet). NASA refers to the Soyuz as MS. |

I got information Roscosmos will not produce patches, pins and brochures for the Soyuz MC-01 launch. They didn't place order with manufacturers... |

Finally TsENKI ordered MC-01 (and ISS 49) pins and MC-01 brochures. No patches at all. |

If you go on with your great designs the show will go on!I hope you got your MS-01 flight magazine from Roscosmos. This time they had a small number of them in Baikonur, only for officials from NASA and JAXA. I hope to find one for me in September. |
