Since it is 'out there' (on Kelly's flight suit) here is a picture of the revised design embroidered: |

Where can we get one of the new ones? AB Emblem's website only has the old version for sale. |

AB Emblem hasn't started producing the revised design for sale yet. When I receive notification from them I will post the information here. |

AB Emblem has the original still in stock. They have about 400 left if you collect "variations".... |

There have been some rumors that Malenchenko would be replaced by Ivanishin. Although this will not happen, maybe that has delayed production a bit. |

I just received the Expedition 46 patch update from AB Emblem. This patch will be available approximately four weeks from the launch date. |

I have just received these revised design Expedition 46 patches (many thanks Joe). Yes they have the merrowed edge instead of the cut edge. They also have the product number 240929 and date code 9/2015. Yet the date code on the label attached to the cellophane packet that the patches came from is 09/15 20. |

The ones that will fly on the onboard suits have 01/06. They were produced in the first week of January 2015, so probably the format used on those is month/day. |

Does anyone have both the AB Emblem version and the Spaceboosters version of this patch please? Spaceboosters says theirs is "Manufactured on behalf of Spaceboosters Limited true to the original artwork" so I'm curious to know if it's better/worse than the AB version. |

Thanks Liembo, but I was meaning the second official version as listed here. It's obviously the same basic design as the AB Emblem version but I was wondering if anyone had both to make a comparison. |

On AB Emblem version of the ISS 46 patch on the Russian flag the width of the white colour is the same as the blue one. It is correct. On spacebooster's version the blue colour is narrower than the white one... It is wrong. In any case it is not an official patch. |

A post-flight interview with Scott Kelly was posted yesterday all over NASA's social media, spotted the old Exp. 46 patch on Kelly's jacket. |

That's a carryover from before he flew. The last time he wore that particular jacket, in January 2015, he told me he was planning to retire it. I am getting a new one with less patches on it, because this looks kind of ridiculous. It makes me feel guilty when I see some of the ascans (candidates) walking around with no patches with their names on it. And, at the 2015 State of the Union, just a few days after we spoke, he had a new jacket with fewer patches and the updated Expedition 46 patch on his sleeve. |

Scott hasn't retired his jacket yet, as seen with the old E46 patch at Kelly Family Day on May 19.Although, there is a difference between this jacket and the one above: Besides the addition of the 100 days patch, he doesn't have the shuttle patches on the bottom of the jacket. |
