I have always been intrigued by these Soviet/Russian patch presentation sets. I have also wondered how many of these were made and for what missions.

I understand the Zvezda Corporation made these as gifts to dignitaries for just over 20 years. That is quite a span in the space history world. The guys at SpacePatches.nl show a number of these on their website under the individual mission. Some are on eBay at significant prices (~$500), but have been seen at auction for $200.

If you have some of these could you check to see if it on the on the list below? "YES" means I've seen a picture of it, "Probably" means Zvezda likely made one for the particular mission (although I haven't seen it), and "unknown" means that I have no idea if Zvezda would have made any for that flight. The latter seems to be the Soviet or Russian-only flights with no foreign participants. That is only my theory.

I have two that were enclosed within a paper slipcover for protection. These had the Zvezda star logo on them.

And of course I would like to have more of these if you happen to find a stack of them at a Russian flea market.

TM-13 Austria: YES

Just recently, for our contribution to the project, our team received a similar frame filled with patches related to the MARS 500 ground simulation. We were told that one of those had also been presented to Vladimir Putin.

I got a very nice letter from Zvezda confirming they produced these presentation sets using patches supplied by Roskosmos. "The sets were given as keepsakes to private persons (unknown to us)."

All times are CT (US)
