I am an admirer of bullion patches, simply because of the artistic work and the fact that they are mostly handmade, so each are unique works of art.I recently purchased a Voskhod-2 bullion patch signed by Cosmonaut Alexei Leonov. I will share that one along with others not seen on this page. Thank you for sharing and filling in the gap of knowledge surrounding the origin of these patches. I am aware of the history of the bullion patches produced by Cape Kennedy Medals, and I had to assume they were not the only producers of bullion patches given the variants I have seen. |

I can confirm that bullion patches are still going up to the ISS with Roscosmos crews for specific programs or commemorations. I know of at least two for 2021 missions. |

I bought the complete Apollo bullion patches from an old gentleman in Cape Canaveral. Many years have passed so I don't know if his store in Cape Canaveral still exists. Unfortunately I do not remember the name.I think Ken can help to remembers the name and the store.

That was Tom Foley of Cape Kennedy Medals/Mint in Cocoa Beach, FL. Tom actually had three locations in the beach town area spanning from the 1980-20's. He also had a couple of locations, but at different time periods, on Merritt Island. The long-time space vendor was mostly known for his souvenir shop right across the street from the world-famous Ron Jon Surf Shop complex on A1A. |

This 2.25"x4.5" bullion patch commemorating the Voskhod spacecraft and signed by cosmonaut Alexei Leonov, first person to conduct a spacewalk. The patch was made in 2000 and signed in 2007.
