Soyuz TMA-17 commander Oleg Kotov was specific in his comments during our interview together that while including the children's artwork, his own ideas went into the creation of this patch. |

It's a cute design. The first in recent memory that doesn't place surnames in the order in which they will sit in the spacecraft. |

Some simple yet beautiful designs being produced here. Getting the children involved has so many benefits... probably least of all some great additions to our collections. |

This ebay listing offers an unauthorised reproduction of the Soyuz TMA-17 patch.The official patch will be available for collectors through Spacepatches.nl in December. |
