Here is the JAXA patch. It differs in a couple of places from the logo art, but this is the official issue. |

There is also an embroidered design for the H-II transfer vehicle on this image. Does anyone have any background knowledge on the design? |

It is written HTV on the patch and not HTV-1 like on the design. Is this patch an original for the first HTV mission?

"Kounotori" translates to "white stork" (it is the same name given to all HTVs). |

My very good friend from Tokyo managed to find these HTV patches for me. It is harder and harder to find patches. Pins are easier to get. |
