UP Aerospace has announced the availability of their second mission insignia. From their website: quote: By popular request, you can now purchase the official Mission Patch of our upcoming SL-2 flight. Among many exciting experiments and payloads onboard, we are proud that Celestis, Inc. has selected our SL-2 flight to transport Star Trek's "Scotty" James Doohan and NASA astronaut and pioneer Gordon Cooper into the "final frontier"!Due to your interest, we are making available a very limited quantity of our official "SL-2 Mission Patch" for the upcoming exciting space flight from New Mexico's Spaceport America. We commissioned the esteemed artist John Parkinson to design this historic Mission Patch. Given the magnitude and historic nature of the event, this is sure to be an immediate collector's item! We're offering the SL-2 Mission Patch two ways: - Standard Mission Patch. Just $29.95.
- Mission Patch that will be actually flown on the upcoming space flight! Only a handful of these "space flown" patches will be on this very unique mission. If you'd like one of these patches -- that will also be hand-signed on the back by the principals of UP Aerospace -- this is your one-and-only opportunity! Talk about a rare collector's item! Just $299.95. (This very special SL-2 Mission Patch will be delivered to you approximately two weeks after the space flight.)
Again, these are very limited quantities of our commemorative SL-2 Mission Patch. Once they're gone, they're gone. Don't miss your opportunity.
