Infinite Statue together with Sensitive Art Studio has produced "La Lune de Georges Méliès," a 10.83 by 9.05 inch (27.5 by 23 cm) resin wall plaque. The $145 (€134.51) dimensional sculpture is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2025.
If Georges Méliès is considered "the man who invented cinema," his most famous work, "Le Voyage Dans La Lune" from 1902, immortalized his art by creating one of the first universally iconic images in the world.

This new version of the "Moon" (following the one created in 2010 by Infinite Statue) is not only a tribute to his creative genius but also to his multifaceted artistic skills, such as drawing, which has been frequently used by modern directors to depict their imagination before translating it onto film.

This new "Moon" has been meticulously derived from one of the "tableaux" that Méliès himself created at the birth of the "Cinémathèque Française" in order to "reconstruct" his work, which he drew in watercolor three years before his death in 1936. Over time, this drawing has become the very symbol of his famous film and an iconic representation of his name in the history of cinema.

The transformation into three dimensions, combined with the careful replication of the original drawing's colors, makes this object an unprecedented homage to the father of the seventh art.

This is the first work conceived and designed by "Sensitive Art Studio," an independent studio led by Fabio Berruti, founder and artistic director of Infinite Statue, with the aim of bringing to light, once again, those hidden masterpieces and shadowy areas where timeless art can take shape in rare, refined, and artistic objects./BLOCKQUOTE>
