I recently bought this on eBay. It's an unusual piece. It's 1/40th scale. It was found in a storage locker and I first got the command module, the service module and the escape tower.

The escape tower is almost identical to the Precise Models and Hyatt models part but this one is better quality in terms of welds and stock used. It's mostly round vs. the others have some flat stock.

The CM seems to be solid and the decals are identical to the Precise and Hyatt. There is no removable top and the hatch and a few other areas are scribed lines, there's no hatch decal.

The service module is solid, looks like resin and has different thrusters that have hollow nozzles, however the main nozzle is solid. The bottom is a stepped round detail to fit into the base. There's no decals only scribed lines. No umbilical and only one big alignment/mounting pin.

They found the base and it's like the LM shroud on the Hyatt but short, just tall enough to fit the main nozzle. It tapers correctly and its the nameplate I've never seen before. It's nice, goes all around the bottom base which is stepped wood with a green felt bottom.

My plan is to photo document it as is and then carefully restore it as it's yellowed and the CM is damaged and poorly repaired.

The escape tower rocket is still missing but I bet they will find it. If not I might have one.

See the pics below or here on my aerospace design museum page.
