Space Helmet Models has announced its upcoming 1:4 Apollo A7LB moonwalker (product no. SHM019).

First prototype sculpted by Ignacio Bernácer, casting by Alfonso Miquel.

This figure will be 50 cm tall and the detailing is magnificent! I have got to get one of these!

Wow! And I reckon I'll be having the same reaction when the price is announced. I hope it will be pre-built not a kit.

Helmet Models are always a kit. Completed figures would sell more easily though, especially in 2019!

Ignacio will complete them for you for a small fee. I had him build one of his 1/12 figures for me. Excellent quality build and detailing!

Just a couple of small details — the silicone tips on the glove thumbs look a little small — they need to be bigger than the three middle fingers.

Not sure, but in one photo the soles of the lunar overshoes appear to be tapering towards the front? Should be the opposite. The pages on the cuff checklist tended to curve with the spiral binding and don't lie flat as such. Just my 5 cents worth...

Brilliant project and looks great. Good luck with it all.
