I just received a Countdown, Inc. Saturn V with LUT toy model and it's a pretty nifty little piece. I haven't measured yet but does anyone know the scale? 1/400? The LUT has swinging arms, the base has the tread assemblies that pivot so it could roll on an incline, an unusual detail. Does anyone have one of these? |

I bought one probably in the early 1970’s at the KSC Visitor's Center. I noticed there are different roll patterns. Some examples are more in line with the Saturn 500F where as mine is more of the actual flight version. I also noticed that some are missing a swing arm and the pipes going up the side are different. How many different versions were made? |

The Countdown, Inc. version was released as a a model kit, it scales out to 1/350. It rolls! I think it's a pretty neat little model. Does anyone else have one or one in the box? |

I have one, also made by Cashulette. I think I bought in the 90s, not really sure. I actually found it at a small hobby shop here in Tampa, that is long since gone. |

There were at least two types of patterns on the Saturn V body. I presume the original was the painted on pattern resembling that of 500-F. I have two rocket bodies with the markings closer to that of flown Saturn Vs but they done with stick on decals — not paint. |

I restored one of these toys and made a little model out of it: |
