Does anyone know if a pre-built Apollo 17 set will be available soon? |

The pre-built Apollo 17 set is the diecast Apollo 16 model that should be at stores in the next few weeks. quote: Originally posted by sev8n: This is a research project worth conducting on your own. Bon Appetit but watch those calories...
I was looking online today and Cadbury and Rollos bars are what some modelers have used to simulate the Kapton on the LM. quote: Originally posted by divemaster: As for the mesh, you can also buy a really cheap strainer/sifter at a place like Bed, Bath and Beyond, cut out the appropriate sized piece, spray it gold, and there's your antenna dish.
Will take a look for a cheap kitchen strainer at B,B&B. Thanks Tracy! |

Werther's was also acceptable, as I recall. I think a lot of testing is in order. |

Any clue as to how long it takes DragonCare to respond? I have sent two emails since the 8th and have had no reply. |

I think it depends where you live. I've been pulling my hair out since February trying to get them to send me a replacement thruster assembly for my Apollo Lunar Approach LM (there were two left (CDR) thrusters in the pack) and so far, despite multiple emails, all I've met is silence whereas. Several other cS members had the same issue but it was resolved quickly.I think the difference is I live in the UK whereas they lived in the USA. As a side note, if any fellow cS member can help me out I'd appreciate it. |

Give Dragon USA a call at 866-365-8721. You can get the gentleman in customer service fairly easily and he will send the parts out quickly.

Would it be possible for you to contact Dragon USA and explain the situation to them? I wonder if they are willing to help. If you contact them and do not receive cooperation I will be glad to help out. |

I received an email today. And opened a case on their website. Apparently what was what I was supposed to do, and not email them. So, I took a picture of the kit, which is essentially done, and copied my PayPal receipt and address of the online store I bought it from. Sent all of that and hope to get a reply Friday. |

This is exactly what I did do, open a ticket and send them photographs. My follow up emails (quoting my ticket number) was to try and find out why nothing has happened. This is why I'm so disappointment with their customer support. Thanks for the phone number, I'll try and give them a call. |
