This model isn't complete without the Surveyor 3 included. |

Agree with Henk. If they're going to do one representation of each mission, they need to actually make each one significantly different enough from the other to make people want to spend another $60 on one.So they need a Surveyor 3 if they're going to do 12. And a broken TV camera. |

Of the six LMs that landed on the moon, only Apollo 11 had the black panel under the LMP's window. This panel was silver, like the panel under the CDR's window, for the other five LMs (and probably the Apollo 13 LM as well).I also agree with the above posts, that the model should have something unique to the mission. That is why I didn't buy the Apollo 9 model (I did buy the Apollo 10 model). The significance of Apollo 9 was that it was the first manned test of the LM, yet there's no LM. Why Dragon waited until the Apollo 10 model to add the LM is a mystery to me. |

So we went from just an LM (and astronauts?), to an LM, CM, and Surveyor. Are there any differences between the LM, CM, and astronauts from this one as compared to those from the Apollo 11 landing set? Or are we going to be paying $90 bucks or so just to get a Surveyor? |

On the lunar module, the Modularized Equipment Stowage Assembly (MESA) opens. |

For the same price? Silly me. I didn't notice the "missing" CM on the original release, LOL!I guess the third one in the series will be one with a rover? |

According to The Flying Mule, it is expected in February. I wonder if it will be delayed since the additional stuff was added? |

The model is no longer listed on the Flying Mule's website. Expect a delay. |

Flying Mule removed a whole bunch of Dragon items due to a coupon they sent out for 20% off Dragon Models. Only supposed to be in stock items (I was going to buy another 1/72nd Saturn V but it's taken off right now), but they may have gotten this one by accident. |

Responding to my inquiry about the removal of Dragon models from their website, the Flying Mule has replied that they have done so at the request of Dragon. Dragon Models could not give precise dates as to when the models will be available. |

I ordered one about a month ago, but haven't heard anything, even thought it's now after April 30. Anybody heard, has it been delayed again? |

Ah, May. I just hope a month from now it hasn't changed to June. I don't mind Dragon taking its time to get things right, but I'd rather they add a little cushion to the release date rather than set unreachable goals. Still, I expect it will be worth the wait. |

EZToys sent me an email yesterday telling me my order has shipped. Unfortunately, it's not going to arrive at my home in Massachusetts until June 13. Not bad ship time really, but I can't wait. This is my first Dragon Apollo purchase. |

I purchased the Dragon Apollo 12 diecast model today and am going to create a product video for YouTube later. The LM includes the cask on the rear of the craft for the ALSEP radioactive power source. I was pleasantly surprised to find this added detail. |

I really appreciate this, as well as any other feedback from other purchasers of the Apollo 12 model. I already have the Apollo 11 set, and will definitely be purchasing the Apollo 16 CSM/LM/LRV model, but I'm still on the fence about this one. Any pics, video, or detail info/reviews would be much appreciated. |

Here are a few photos of the Apollo 12 model. The CSM is included with the model, however, I do not display it. The CSM is the same as the Apollo 11 version.

Has anyone had Alan Bean sign this model? I am thinking about doing so at Spacefest, but am not sure if there is a good enough surface for a signature that will be easily visible when the model is displayed. The lunar surface doesn't look like you could easily write on it.It looks like you might be able to write on the side of the base. Has anyone tried this? If so, how do you feel about the results? If anyone has a picture of an Al Bean (or Dick Gordon, for that matter) signature on this model, I would love to see it. Thanks! |
