This was one of my favorite builds - the Fine Molds Millennium Falcon. I enjoyed it because you don't get to add lighted hyperdrives or beat the cr*p out of "real" spaceships! (Apollo 13 excepted)In addition to the lighted hyperdrive, I lit the cockpit with fiber optics, as well as adding "headlights" and a lighted alcove inside the entryway. I also built a false interior in a few places where there was blast damage through the hull. |

Oh man, does that bring back memories..."She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid." That model, on the other hand, looks fantastic! |

This is the first 1/72 scale model I have in my collection and I was astounded by the level of detail on the model given its small size.Real Space 1/72 ASTP (Steve Nichols) |

Marco Miniature Cosmonaut Figure (Steve Nichols)The base Marco Kit is a nasty thing and Steve had to make many corrections to get it close to the real thing. I think he's done an outstanding job. |

Here is a Revell 1:144 MIR Space Station Kit with New Ware etch kit upgrade. My photos don't do it justice because the detail on this model is simply incredible. Some of those etch parts are really tiny.Model built by Steve Nichols.

Great diorama, Norman! From the oldie but still a goodie, collection, check out Barry Davidoff's diorama. I think he won some awards for it back in the day. |

What did you use to color the solar panels? I have a trick up my sleeve when I get around to building this masterpiece. |

Thank you all, sorry for not responding earlier. The solar panels are simply painted flat black with a coat of Tamiya pearl clear to give it a bit of sparkle. |
