New Ware's build of the Voskhod 2 spacecraft as Alexi Leonov is ready to reenter his capsule after his 12 minute spacewalk.

His adventures were just beginning, in space, and on Earth!

Superb model and next year that will be 45 years ago that Leonov performed the first ever EVA! Just curious, is there a Pavel Belyayev figurine inside the capsule?

Didn't you see Pavel peering out the window, waving, wondering, how's he going to get back in.

Brave men, weren't they. Had my suit ballooned, I would not have had the emotional stability to purge the pressure. But that's why they perform all those tests prior to giving you a suit!

The door of the inflatable airlock sleeve opened inwards. Could they have jettisoned this airlock so Leonov could join Belyayev (with pressure suit) directly through the main hatch or couldn't the Voskhod capsule be pressurised/ depressurised?

The Voskhod capsule could not be repressurised. That's why they had the airlock in the first place.

I do not know what the procedure would have been for Belyayev, if Leonov had not been able to get the airlock hatch closed or the Voskhod's hatch open.
