Not sure how new this is, but I hadn't seen it before: LEGO has added another set to their Discovery line, a Lunar Lander of large enough scale to include astronaut minifigs. Glad to see their continuing the line. ------------------ http://allthese worlds.hatbag.net "America's challenge of today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow." - Commander Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17 Mission, 11 December 1972 IP: Logged |

This set was released in 2003, along with the Discovery Kids line (though was absent from the Toy Fair display where these kits were first seen). Unfortunately, I recently received word from Lego that this series has been discontinued, due to its license with Discovery expiring at the end of 2004. At this time, there were no plans to re-release the sets without the Discovery branding. (On a related subject, check out this 1975 Lunar Lander Lego Kit...) IP: Logged | |
