I opened up a very clean Data Storage Interface Unit from Saturn V I have to inspect the inside, and because early NASA wiring and solder PCB work is basically artwork, and I noticed most of the boards and integrated circuits are plated in gold or palladium.

Does anyone have any experience with these items from the Saturn Instrumentation Rack and if the internal circuits and solder connections were plated with gold at all?

All times are CT (US)
