Recently I received an event indicator from a space shuttle aft station (RMS Operations). As I wanted to display and operate it, does anyone know, what electrical voltage is needed to operate this indicator?I searched the web for this Rockwell indicator SD MC432-0222-0023, part no. 521566. ![](http://www.collectspace.com/review/rocketchris/event_indicator01.jpg) ![](http://www.collectspace.com/review/rocketchris/event_indicator02.jpg)
As I was told it displays the "barberpole" UP and DN and it should have been located on the RMS panel (see Image, below the Canada Sticker). Could this be? ![](http://www.collectspace.com/review/spaceaholic/shuttle_aft_flight_deck_a6u_panel02.jpg) Thanks for feedback and Ideas how to operate. |

This indicator operates on 28 VDC. You can wire pins 1 and 3 to 28 VDC. If you switch pin 4 to ground, you get "DN". If you switch pin 2 to ground, you get "UP". With pins 4 and 2 both open, or both at ground, you get barber pole.Pins are numbered clockwise starting at the top left, 1234. Have some fun! |

Indeed, that was quick! cS is really a good source of information and companionship. What about the Amperes? Anyway, is there somewhere a kind of datasheet to find for this indicator? Does anyone know if this UP-DN Indicator really was located at the RMS panel? If so where exactly? | |
