It will be interesting to see if any of these make their way to LEO over the next few years. |

The demand for the STS-1 40th anniversary G-Shock seems to have been just as strong, if not more so, than the first NASA edition. Casio's website briefly crashed soon after the 7 a.m. EDT sale began and then struggled to keep up with the many refreshes as people tried to place orders.Despite the technical problems, the watch was sold out within the first 45 minutes of its availability. The watches will begin shipping on May 3, according to Casio. |

Unfortunately the contest for one of these watches is only open to Casio registered account holders over 18 based in the US!I have tried to enter this contest from the UK and Casio Customer Services advised me of this although I also found this information on their website. No indication it will ever be offered for sale outside of the USA. I will just have to wait for them to appear on a well know auction site at four times the original purchase price! |

The GW6900NASA241, introduced in July, was the second best-selling G-Shock model of 2024, according to the watchmaker. It was surpassed only by the monochrome black GA2100-1A1, which is designed for outdoor and military use. That the GW6900NASA241 performed well would seem to bode well for the NASA line to continue in 2025. |
