Wanted to announce that I have now made live a resource that I have been informally using on my computer to aid in personal collecting interests. Now named Souvenirs of Space, it is a site which was inspired by several threads on cS over the years. I've compiled an archive of photos and documents located over three decades of collecting for the sole purpose of helping others. Several people on cS have graciously beta tested it for me and based on their feedback I've focused on just a few popular topics, listed below, for which a representative guide was not yet (and still isn't) publicly available. I hope that through more time discussing, researching, and refining the details of what has been initially put together, a final resting place for this information could be on an established website, like cS or spaceflownartifacts.com, just as examples. In the meantime, please enjoy the site as a working location with updates planned roughly once every month or as needed, especially when significant new discoveries are made. I welcome all comments and look forward to your help in improving the experience and accuracy of the site. Finally, if you have any photos and/or documents you wish to share feel free to use this thread, contact me though my profile, or the website directly. Thank you! |

I have a photo of the placard showing a Suffolk Co., New York flag, as well as a photo of that flag, which was flown on STS-27 by Gibson. Also have a photo showing Gibson holding an STS-27 patch presentation which was given to Cooperstown, New York. |

Does anyone have a scan of the stowage lists for STS-3 or Apollo 9? |

Thanks for these updates, your site is an amazing resource. In terms of Silver Snoopy pins it's interesting to see the divide between the first 25 flights — with no more than 100 pins per flight, and often 0 — and the post-Challenger "return to flight" missions. There were more pins flown on STS-26 and 27 alone (732 and 932) than on the first 25 flights combined (640 for the 20 with figures). Later on things settled down to around 100 to 200 pins per mission but for a while the numbers were huge. |

Bit puzzled by the STS-5 2000 3x3 inch octagon Satellite Business System vinyl emblems (item 9 on the OFK list). The original art indeed is an octagon, but the flown emblems presented after the flight were round. |
