For information, I would love to know the thickness of the stainless steel plates forming the heat shield of the Apollo CM. If some kind soul could help me, thanks in advance.

Thanks, SpaceAholic.

A final service please (actually two) if you can have: The thickness of the honeycomb stainless steel and the remaining resin... (heat shield picture) and if you have, the thickness of the bulkhead (aluminum pressure wall). Thanks in advance.

Pre-reentry thickness of the the ablator and supporting substructures varied across the spacecraft based on the anticipated local thermal environment..diagrams provide spot thicknesses. In addition (as shown in the drawing) the Crew Compartment heat shield incorporated Fiberglass "T" slip-stringers for strain relief - these had variable geometery; caliper measurements are provided for maximum expanded and contracted configurations in the last two images.

Thank you very much. One last question I forget to ask you: the thickness of the honeycomb (I would say about 0.1 mm).
