I would like to hear your suggestions on how to best showcase, display or frame a Robbins medallion. I would really appreciate your suggestions. |

There are many ways how to display it, just use archival PVC free, mylar holders. |

Collecting medallions, a subset of numismatics, has been around a longgg time. I would suggest that you Google coin storage suppliers and see what is out there. Just as an FYI, the size of most Robbins medallions is a little bit larger than a half dollar. This means that they will not fit in a half dollar holder, but it gives you a rough idea of comparable sizes. I absolutely agree with the comment that you want your holder to be PVC free. The reason you want your holder to be PVC free is that PVC reacts with metals such as silver and copper, which form the majority of a Robbins medallion. The end result is an ugly greenish area that will, even if removed, have chemically eaten into the medallions' surface permanently corrupting it. Most coin storage suppliers will mention whether a given item is PVC free or not. | |
