Still looking for that elusive STS-58 shuttle Robbins medallion I need to complete my set. If anyone can help, or know someone who can, please contact me.

I finally found an STS-58 medallion today. My set is now complete. I will post it on my website when it arrives.

Thanks Noah.

I don't know, maybe ID badges. I haven't really given it much thought.

The medallions were a lot of fun to put together. In the beginning, I wasn't sure if a set was even possible.

It would be great to add a few gold medallions from some of the more notable missions.

I also received 2 Skylab medallions from someone yesterday, giving me a set of those as well. The other Apollo flights, outside of ASTP, would be a very expensive venture. I probably won't even try for those.

Congratulations Jimmy! You now have a collection that I would guess only few others have in its entirety, astronauts included.

You are to be commended as well for sharing your collection online. I corrected my omission by adding your site to the "Collecting Guides" website directory.

It was quite interesting to learn of the re-strike of the Expedition 7 medallion. Did you retain an "error" medallion or was the scan presented on your site taken before you returned yours for replacement?

Robert,

I extensively photographed the original Exp. 7 medallion I had before it was sent back. They were insistant on the medallions being returned, so I did. I didn't want to cause any problems. I don't believe all of them were though, so keep your eyes open.

I honestly think I'd rather have these than autographs anyday. No chance of them being fake.

When you consider that just a few years ago, STS Robbins were unavailable to collectors, let alone even seen, your collection is even more remarkable. I remember commenting to an astronaut in the mid-90s about his medallions and how exclusive a collectible they really were. I feel the same way today and consider the two I own as fortunate finds. Your collection defines the concept of envy.

Well done Jimmy. What an achievement....and not a fake in sight!<LOL>
There can't be many complete sets in existence, so you've got something really unique.
