I highly recommend this neat little book by Catherine Weitz. I recently met her and got a signed copy for my 5 and 8 year-old kids. They loved it!

I think it's rather cool that one of the project scientists behind the Mars Exploration Rovers has written a children's book! I'd love to see this type of activity encouraged for other NASA employees sharing their different specialties on a level young kids can understand.

(By the way, Dr. Weitz was a guest on The Daily Show in 2004.)
