Last year I was privileged to spend quite a bit of time down at the Cape photographing the final three launches of the Space Shuttle Program. In addition to all of my digital work (viewable here), I shot about two hundred images on instant film. I wanted to capture the end of the program in a way that was both unique and timeless. The entire project can be viewed at SpaceShuttlePolaroids.com and the book can be purchased here. Thanks for taking a look, please feel free to share this project with anyone that you feel would appreciate it. ------------------ Joel Kowsky - Photojournalist kowskyphotography.com blog.kowskyphotography.com spaceshuttlepolaroids.com |

Your digital work looks excellent, so I don't quite understand why somebody would want to record the last Shuttle flights on low-quality Polaroid photos. That is like recording an IMAX-film on 8mm home movies. It may be considered 'art', but I'd rather see a book of the high-quality digital photos.Just my opinion. | |
