According to another forum, the Sunday Mirror's DVD was of The History Channel's October 2006 episode of Modern Marvels: Apollo 11 (one might guess then that the upcoming Apollo 13 DVD will include Modern Marvels: Apollo 13).Both the Apollo 11 and Apollo 13 episodes are available from The History Channel on DVD. The Apollo 11 episode is available for download through Apple's iTunes store (iTunes software required to view link). The Apollo 13 episode was included in The History Channel DVD box set The Race To The Moon. |

Hi Lou,I have just picked up a spare you can have. Just e-mail me off list to sort postage. It makes no mention on the disc but it may be a region 2 version. Will you be able to play that on your player in the US? Regards, Rick. RickMul57@aol.com PS, It does appear to be a History Channel production. |

Just received a copy of the Apollo 11 DVD in the mail from a UK friend, and it does work in my US DVD player.I'm often sent the free DVDs that sometimes come with UK Sunday papers - Times, Guardian, Observer - and some work in my DVD player, some don't. There seems to be no pattern to it, such as certain newspapers. Of course, you can play any of them on a computer. |

Dont forget that this Thursday 24th January, the Apollo 13 documentary (probably The History Channel) is free with the Daily Mirror for immediate collection from Somerfields stores, and at just 40 pence its a bargain. |

It is the first time I have seen this particular documentary. Littered with the usual mixed stock footage from different missions and surprising time line sequence errors around the explosion itself. But still darn good value at 40p!!!Regards, Rick |
