Just a heads up:

Popular Mechanics' June 2009 issue tells the "Untold Story of Apollo 11": "Close Calls, Unsung Heroes, Real Life Drama and the Total Guide to the '69 Lunar Mission".

The article is individual testimonies by key players and behind the scene persons. Though nothing new and earth shaking, it is worth the read.

Regarding Popular Mechanics' issue announcing "special 40th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing" with a picture of an Apollo helmet on the cover:

You can skip this one folks. It's a measly three page story full of single sentence "sound bites" we've all heard before. There are several stories in the magazine with much more extended coverage than this "cover story".

Special issue indeed. Just my opinion.
