Ukranian radio has a very short article about Leonid Kadeniuk releasing a new book about his STS-87 spaceflight: quote: First Ukrainian astronaut Leonid Kadeniuk writes book about his flight to spaceThe cosmonaut told this during the press conference "Astronautics through years and generations" held on the occasion of the World Day of aviation and austranautics. According to him, the dream to become a spaceman was born on April 12, 1961, the day when Yuriy Gagarin performed his first flight. Since then, it took over 30 years for the dream to come true, and "this dream helped me receive necessary knowledge," Kadeniuk noted. As he said, the book contains memories about feelings of a man traveling in space, which cannot be received on the Earth. The article cuts off there. There was a hardcover, limited edition photo book about his flight published in the Ukraine in 1999, but this appears to be different. Has anyone more information? | |
