Just a message to ask if anyone has ever tried Chuck Yeager [of the 'right stuff' and Edwards AFB fame] at PO box 128,Cedar Ridge,CA 95924,USA, or, PO box 1507,Penn Valley,CA 95946,USA. I'd love the autograph of someone so important to the pre Mercury days. I've heard he charges a modest $25 a photo to the later addy, which in comparison to Mr Aldrin, and given his place in history seems very resonable. |

Hello The new list that I just received from Jurgen states that his fee is now $100 donation to the Chuck Yeager Foundation. Add an extra $25 if he provides the photograph. This also has been confirmed by other individuals.Charles |

I had recently heard that he charges $25, $50 if you supply your own picture. I guess his policy is in flux right now.------------------ Warm Regards Douglas Henry Enjoy yourself and have fun.... it is only a hobby! |

I used the Cedar Ridge. I even have a letter on Yeager stationary which gives the address. Hope this helps. From The Last Frontier........ Mike

Cedar Ridge is an older one, and possibly still valid - but they request you use the Penn Valley one. As mentioned - his signing fee is till in flux although on our Aviation History discussion list - the fee sheet was posted. It really didn't answer any questions. |
