The last flight Saturn V S-IC/first stage (S-IC-13), is rolled out from the Michoud Assembly Facility on July 21, 1972. It was loaded on the barge Orion for transport to the Kennedy Space Center. S-IC-13 provided the first stage for AS-513, which launched the Skylab space station in 1973.

Ed, Thanks yet again for posting another great image.
Sad that this was the last Saturn V. A rocket that should have been allowed to remain in the NASA inventory and develop along with technology.

There was a cover on the F-1 engines when the stage was moved onto the barge.
