Does anyone here know where I can find a picture of the Space Shuttle Challenger when it was being used as a structural test article? I need a high resolution picture... low res won't do it. Thanks.

I can't ever remember seeing a picture of STA-099 outside of the test stand. Good luck.

You should contact Jerry Blackburn at Aerospace Legacy Foundation - he has a book full of them.

There are two or three images of STA-099 from the series referenced in the above link (and some very good background information) in Dennis Jenkins' book "Space Shuttle: The First 100 Missions.
(That's in addition to the 17,670,002 other really cool pictures and facts in that book, which I highly recommend.)
