collectSPACE.com interviewed ISS Expedition 33 commander Sunita "Suni" Williams from aboard the International Space Station on Friday Oct. 19, from 9:40 to 9:50 a.m. CDT (1440-1450 GMT).
The conversation aired live on NASA TV and was streamed through NASA's website.
During the 10 minute interview, collectSPACE editor Robert Pearlman spoke with Williams about her nearly 100 days aboard the station, her upcoming second Expedition 33 spacewalk, the approaching 12th anniversary of humans living aboard the orbiting laboratory and the prospects of crews spending a year rather than six months on the ISS.
Other discussion topics included the recent arrival of SpaceX's Dragon capsule, the scheduled Halloween (Oct. 31) docking of a Russian Progress spacecraft, the launch of her next three crewmates and the delivery of 32 fish to the station as part of a Japanese aquatic life experiment.

Robert, you are a very lucky man - your job has to be a labour of love!
Looking forward to seeing ISS pass over Liverpool UK tonight cloud permitting.

Brilliant Robert. I could not be at home for the live interview but I have just seen the archived interview. Good questions and it was nice to see that Suni enjoyed them as well.

Great job Robert, covering so many different topics!
By the way... just realized what was posted on Suni's laptop in the photo above... very clever.

Great questions, Robert! Suni was obviously impressed at getting questions that were well thought-out, from someone who obviously knew what he was talking about.

For NASA astronaut Sunita "Suni" Williams, who Monday evening (Oct. 23) will mark her 100th day in space since lifting off in July, the International Space Station (ISS) has become her and her two Expedition 33 crewmates' home.
"It's definitely our home at this point in time," Williams told collectSPACE.com in a televised interview from on board the station.

Robert's interview with Suni Williams has been playing regularly on NASA TV this week, as part of their Video File programming. Obviously, NASA was impressed enough with the interview that they want to re-play it often.
