Hi Friends:I have been searching the web and have found several sites that offer sleeves in which to store my spare 16 x 20 signed photos. I have run into two choices: Polypropylene and polyethylene. Does anyone have any information on either of these? Which is safer to use with signed photos? Many thanks! Rob |

Rob,I would reccommend Dupont Melinex 516 available at: www.gaylord.com They have a great selection of archival storage products -- many special collections at major universities buy from them. It can be a little expensive but thnink about what you'll be storing in them ... it's worth the small investment! Dan |

I use polypropylene since this plastic slade excists, and had no problem. Many years ago I used polyethilene and the photos and signatures als were not damaged (30 years). Would it make that difference ?Dirk |
