I'm new to this signing experience and I'm glad I've found this great website. I have a space book which I've been lucky enough to have signed by two Apollo astronauts in person. I would like feedback from people concerning if I should take the chance to send this book to other astronauts for their signatures. I would hate to loose this book now, but it would be neat to have other signatures in it. What is your experience with sending already signed items?

Gregg, Unfortunately that's a risk you take. I'm new here too but I've sent books for years to political and military people. What I've normally done is written letters to them first (another way to get an autograph sometimes) to make arrangements. It's kind of fun tracking down a way to contact them. My main preference of course is in person. Fortunately I've never lost one but I have one floating now that I'm beginning to worry about. I'll let you know. Good luck!
