Cleaning out and found this album. Does anyone know if it has any value or if there is a collector for this type of item?
This is an album MIP. The title is MAN ON THE MOON. The front of the cover reads “Special Collectors Edition, With Full Color 8-Page Commemorative Booklet. The Flight of Apollo 11. Recorded Live at Mission Control…Manned Spacecraft Center, Houston, Texas. Narrated by Roy Neal, NBC News. Produced with official NASA voice tapes and photographs.” It was distributed by “Evolution a stereo dimension recording.” The back cover of the album reads “These are the men who made man’s age-old dream of setting foot on the moon a reality.” Then it has 3 pictures which are of Neil A. Armstrong, Edwin E. “Buzz” Aldrin, Jr. and Michael Collins. Under their pictures are brief biographies of each man. There is no date on the outside of the album anywhere. Would be happy email photos to anyone interested.
Thanks for taking time to read this and have an astronomical day!!

Record albums seem to interest a limited number of collectors (I, being one). Especially for Ap11, there were a bundle of them done so the one narrated by Roy Neal is somewhat common. I see them on eBay fairly often and the Apollo 11 records in general tend to go for between $5 and $20.

Russ is exactly right ! There are very few folks interested in the record albums but like Mr. Still, I too am one that is !! I have 3 record albums autographed by Neil Armstrong and two signed by Alan Shepard. They are fun items !! At least I found out that there is another interested in these albums besides me. That is a relief of sorts. Way to go Russ !!...Donald Brady

I have one of these albums too. Trouble is since I sold my record player in favour of a CD player I haven't been able to play it anymore. However, I did tape the record before I sold the record deck!
