Does anyone happen to have a scan or photo of the Gemini 10 backup crew (Alan Bean and Clifton Williams, I believe), either alone or together with the prime crew?

Only together with the prime crew during a press conference.

Thanks for the reply, Ed. I would have expected that there would have been a "formal" portrait (as in many of the earlier flights). Guess they were pretty confident in the prime crew... Thanks again.

Photo S66-28706 has this caption:
Gemini "A" Gravity Egress-Ingress Studies with Astro. Bean and Williams
The photo looks like it was taken onboard a KC-135 aircraft, and that looks like Alan Bean in the right seat of the Gemini mockup. Unusual, since he was the backup command pilot (left seat) for Gemini 10. In the photo, a suited person (Clifton Williams?) can be seen in the left seat. The photo is not reversed.

Wasn't Bean originally planned as backup pilot on Gemini XII (with See)?

Yes, See and Bean were originally assigned as Gemini 12 backup crew.

Bean and Williams were named as the new backup crew for the Gemini 10 mission in a Manned Spacecraft Center news release dated March 21, 1966.

The colour photo of Bean above has a March 29, 1966 publication date.

No photo link, but 66-H-972 has this caption:
The backup crew for NASA's Gemini 10 mission (l-r) Clifton C. Williams, Jr., pilot and Alan L. Bean, command pilot, are at the White Room level of Complex 19 for a checkout in the Gemini 10 spacecraft.

All times are CT (US)
