Hello, I have this auction on Ebay but I have a question:I have similar cover (097 G) with 10 autographs. The Ebay cover have 8 autographs (missing Fred Gregory and Mario Runco) and identification card indicated for mine cover 10 names and in Ebay identification card with 8 names. His other auction ASE cover (with F) have 8 autographs and mine have 9 (missing Garriott) I don't compare all his signed set but I suppose the same thing. The seller say 300 signed sets but all covers are identical with autographs or not? Why apparently some covers have more autographs? My set (and others I have) came directly from ASE. Thanks LadyCosmos |

Gregory and Runco were/still are active astronauts. I believe ASE does not sell to collectors the items they have signed by active astronauts but rather has signed two sets: those without the actives, which are intended for later sale, and those with the actives, to be given to the other astronauts present at the event. The ASE, nor can any organization, ask active astronauts to sign an item if they know it is going to be used for the purposes of fundraising as it is prohibited by the U.S. government. |

Rob is correct. That said, we had a SNAFU in the poster signing in Scotland (last week), where several of the active folks signed all of the posters (as opposed to just the subset). Their names will not be listed as present on the Collector's Edition poster, but they will be on there. | |
