I found a dollar bill signed by Neil Armstrong on a Dutch auction site. The person selling this item is asking 25,000 Euros for it. I think (even if it is real) this is too much. According to the seller the dollar bill was signed by Armstrong on July 20, 2009 for someone named B. Bush. Can this be real? |

That is the most shaky forgery I have ever seen! |

I would be comfortable saying that is a forgery. |

I certainly don't like it, and the asking price is a joke. |

One other thing that could be a forgery giveaway. I have seen Armstrong signatures on checks for instance that were dated like 3-7-xx.His 7's never had a line through it. This is more of a European trait than an American trait, so it would be natural for a European forger to date it with a line through the 7. Also at the end of the date the "crown?" and initials probably would nit have been drawn by him, yet they are in the same pen. |

Even if it was genuine and it isn't, as has been said already the price is just crazy. |
