Hi Everyone,

There was a beautiful launch of the Minatour rocket last night out of Vandenberg AFB. It was the first dusk launch in almost 3 years. It carried a Defense Advanced Research Project Agency Streak satellite into polar orbit and it was successful.

These photos were taken by my mom (Lilian Holt), she's an excellent photographer and has photographed all of the SS-1 flights. In one of the photos you can see staging occur and the rocket was visible until MECO.

Ray

Great photos. I was driving and actually pulled over to watch it. I knew it was a rocket launch when the staging occured. I almost couldn't believe it.
