Just bought a Gemini 3 cover with an Orbit Covers cachet that has a March 23, 1965 P.M. Cape Canaveral hand cancel to commemorate the splashdown at 2:16 PM EST.
In all my years of collecting space covers this is the first time I've seen a Gemini 3 cover with this cachet and a P.M. cancel. Every other cover I've seen for Gemini 3 with an Orbit Covers cachet was cancelled for the launch with an A.M. cancel.
By the way, it has a Cape Canaveral hand cancel with "FLA." and not 32920 on the bottom of the cancellation, similar to the Gemini 1 and Gemini 2 covers with Orbit Covers cachets.
Do any other collectSPACE cover collectors have one of these covers? How uncommon are they? Or can it be one of the Ronson fake covers?

I've got a few of these covers myself. I have seen them offered on eBay quite often really. I don't believe they're fakes, just P.M. splashdown cancel.

I posted about a Gemini-3 Orbit cacheted cover with a double cancel for launch and splashdown in Space Cover of the Week 644.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I didn't see these covers before because I have a Gemini 3 cover with an Orbit Covers cachet so I skipped over them when they were listed on eBay without looking closely at the cancellation.
