With Boeing's Starliner Crew Flight Test (CFT) being launched with a crew as soon as next week (May 6), I thought I would start a topic covering the cancels, post offices and covers related to the flight. I just sent off my two envelopes franked by Sally Ride stamps to:
  • Postmaster
    424 Falcon Dr.
Patrick Space Force Base, FL 32925

  • Postmaster
    8700 Astronaut Blvd.
    Cape Canaveral, FL 32920
For the landing, the envelopes should be sent to:
  • Postmaster
    153 Jollet
White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002

I'm thinking about sending some envelopes for first day covers this weekend, is there a timeframe the Postmaster will discontinue cancellations?

Typically, if you send envelopes that arrive before a scheduled mission event, the postmaster will postmark them as the staff responsible for them have time and the volume of requests; so the cancelled covers usually are returned to the sender sometimes weeks after the event.

All times are CT (US)
