The 2028 Summer Olympics to be held in Los Angeles is represented by an emblem with a static "L," "2" and "8," together with with an interchanging "A".
"Los Angeles is an infinite canvas that represents millions of people and hundreds of languages," said LA28 Chief Marketing Officer Amy Gleeson."No one mark could ever express all that Los Angeles and the Games represent. The best way to showcase the LA28 Games is by asking the community to share in the creation."

To date, LA28 has launched more than 35 individual emblems including design collaborations with artists, celebrities, athletes and tastemakers to showcase a collection of voices that truly represents all the diverse and unique aspects of Los Angeles and Angelenos.

One of the emblems represents Los Angeles' connection to "space travel" and has been released on an official t-shirt, cap and lapel pin:
