Below you'll find an updated list covering sales from 2008 / 2009 / 2010.

Many patches remain rare as hen's teeth: the early NASA vector patches; all the Gemini crew patches and crew souvenir versions; and the patches from Apollo 7 (crew), 8 (crew souvenir), 9 (crew), 12 (recovery), 15 (crew). In many cases not a single unflown example of these patches has appeared on the market in the last three years.

On the other hand some patches have appeared in relatively large numbers in the last year, for example I counted 7 standard Apollo 12 crew patches (all variants combined), 6 Apollo 10 Grumman patches and 5 Apollo 11 crew patches. These numbers are in the same ballpark as the 7 Apollo 13 crew patches I've counted this year, even though that patch is generally considered more easy to track down.

It's worth noting that a significant number of the crew patches which have appeared in the last few years have been sold by Donnis Willis, with the next most prolific source probably being eBay's pamelalmay. This indicates that some of these patches are present in the collections of quite a large number of former space sector workers whose collections these sellers bring to market.
