Does anyone have any information about these pins? Were they awards for NASA employees? Available for purchase at the KSC gift shop? I recently acquired one and was wondering about the background on them. Thanks. |

I recently read they were issued by Rockwell, (not NASA as I had guessed). They turn up fairly regularly on eBay and don't go very high. |

Thanks -- I'm not very concerned about the value, I'm more interested in what they were used for. My guess is that they were given to program participants, but I don't know that for sure. ------------------ John Capobianco Camden DE |

I actually have one that is a charm, rather than a pin (though I have one of those, as well, thanks to a cool guy I know!). it's really neat. Farthest Reaches has one for sale, but my guess is that the price there has more to do with the fact that it is from Al Worden's personal collection. as for the provenance, I have no idea. sorry! |
