I am a new space collector and have recently aquired an item on ebay. The seller will allow me to return it if it is ever found to be not authentic. I have already begun the process of trying to identify it through NASAs FOIA office using the part number and such, but I know that will take forever. I was wondering if anyone here would be so kind as to help me with some preliminary help on this: any comments would be greatly appreciated! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160007576862

Insulation presentations like these were sold through our buySPACE store.
The display you purchased and the pieces we offered were made by the same source (given the style of the description plaque and wooden base).
It is authentically flown however, tracking it to a specific flight may not be possible without the paperwork that accompanied its removal from the orbiter. Unfortunately, that paperwork was not available (at least not at the time of our sale last year).

Thanks so much Robert! Any idea about its value?
