Jacques van Oene | Skybot F-850 that will fly on the uncrewed Soyuz MS-14 has two patches on its chest. More info on the patches is welcome. Skybot (renamed from FEDOR or Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research) is an anthropomorphic rescue robot developed by the Android Technology Company and the Russian Foundation for Advanced Research Projects. |
Paul J. Brennan | I like the second (bottom) one with the nod to Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam." I'd be interested in it if we find out who's making them. |
vanerie | I too would welcome information on how or if the patches can be obtained. |
Russian | My friends from Roscosmos sent me this picture. Very limited edition. Some stickers are also produced. It's not a fully embroidered patch.
|
MSS | At this photo from FEDOR twitter we can see a different patch! Is it earlier version or final one? |
Russian | I think it is previous paper version of it. Roscosmos did its final design in the second half of June and got patches by mid July. |
Russian | I got information from Roscosmos the upper "patch" is not really a patch but a picture on a piece of metal. Only one was produced. The manufacturer of the robot will maybe order some patches later on. |
MSS | Apparently, there is a separate emblem for the Soyuz MS-14 mission. Is it possible to see it 5 days before the launch? Thanks. |
Paul J. Brennan | MSS or Russian, do you know if the crew/mission patch is one of the patches that we have already seen or something new/different? |
Jacques van Oene | It is different. |
Paul J. Brennan | Thank you Jacques. |
Russian | I was told there is a round version of the MS-14 patch but unofficial one. It was RKK Energia version. Some patches and panels with the logo will be inside the Soyuz capsule. They will land with the ISS and Russian segment seals and the ISS crew autographs. |
Paul J. Brennan | Thank you Russian. |
Kevin T. Randall | The Russian version of the Skybot F-850 Soyuz MS-14 patch is now available to buy from Russian eBay seller (Rocketproton). 31 sold so far. |
Russian | I would like to stress it is fully embroidered souvenir version circulating now at Baikonur. Skybot F-850 has a different patch.
|
Robert Pearlman | From SpacePatches.nl: This is the RKK Energia patch for the Soyuz MS-14 mission. It uses the company logo as a background. The spacecraft is shown in the foreground with its destination, the International Space Station, depicted as a silhouette. The spacecraft's designation is at the bottom of the design, incorporating the Roscosmos logo, while the first flight of the crew spaceship on the Soyuz 2.1a launcher is indicated at the top of the patch.
|
Paul J. Brennan | Love it! |
Russian | Flying Dutchmen, how many were produced? And do you confirm you produced panels as well? |
Jacques van Oene | Do not have the exact number but I understand that less then 200 were produced. And about 25 panels were produced. No stickers and no pins for this mission were produced by spacepatches.nl. |
Robert Pearlman | It appears the insignia on Skybot F-850 are metallic decals.
|
Russian | The upper patch is produced by spacepatches for Roscosmos (less than 100 patches produced). The second is not a patch. Decal or not? The manufacturer of the robot didn’t have enough time to produced a patch. |
Russian | It looks like the upper logo is not a patch neither... sticker too. |
ddrwilli | Here is the 3-piece Soyuz MS-14 souvenir set — banner, decal, and pin — from RKK Energia. I acquired the set through a friend in Russia. |
