rjurek349 | Well, the Aurora auction is just around the corner on the 27th. Anyone hear anything yet on when the catalogs will be mailed? Just curious... Rich |
Aztecdoug | Good question. I just called and they said about a week to ten days. They are at the printers now. |
Rodina | What, if anything, are the flagship lots?
|
RUATURTLE? | I downloaded what appeared to be a portion of the catalog this morning from the Aurora website. You can get an idea of some of the lots that will be available, however the down loading of the photos of the lots has been problematic for me. Has anyone been able to downlaod a full version (photos included) of the catalog yet? |
rjurek349 | No problems with the PDF. I am really impressed with the organization of the sale this time, and how they have the items set up around the missions in chrono order. There looks to be some very nice stuff. Kudos to Michael and Vickie. Can't wait! |
spaceflori | If the download doesn't work by clicking on it, try the right mouse button and click "save link as" - the download is about 7MB large... Florian ------------------

Jake | I don't see it on their site? ------------------ Jake Schultz - curator, Newport Way Air Museum (OK, it's just my home) |
rjurek349 | I noticed it was taken down and then a line has been put up that the catalog will be uploaded "shortly." I think some poeple were having problems downloading it. There was, it seems, problems with images loading. Perhaps the file was too big and they are chunking it up. In any case, I was able to look at it for a good long while and really liked some of the stuff I saw. I am sure the catalog will be back up soon. And my understanding is that the catalog is being mailed this Friday with priority mail for US and DHL for international. Looks like we won't see the print catalog until shortly before the actual auction. |
Robert Pearlman | The auction catalog files are now available on http://www.auroragalleriesonline.com/ in PDF format (you must have Acrobat 5.0). Meanwhile, the physical catalogs are shipping via Priority mail. |
hinkler | My Aurora catalogue arrived in Melbourne, Australia today. My thanks to Michael and Victoria. All I have to now is find a money tree. Plus my wife complains I spend more time looking at the catalogue then talking to her. Regards, Ian from Oz |
Rodina | DHL has always been better and setting stuff across the Pacific than up the Coast. Still no sign of it here in the Bay Area.Is anyone going by to preview some lots? There's one lot among the Russian stuff which is lacking a good photo and I'm wondering if someone could scout it out for me... |
Rodina | I received the Aurora catalog today and it looks good. Inexplicably, however, I received three of them. |
Rizz | Got mine out here in Hula Land yesterday. A real nice selection. My only comment....they can send a man to the moon - but they sure can't figure out how to consistantly print a sharp crisp image in the catalog. Have fun everyone! Frank |
Dan Lorraine | I received three catalogs as well!!! I would be more than happy to send the two extra copies I received to ayone interested in adding them to their collection (US only). The first two to email me with their address will get them. Please put Aurora Catalog in the message section of your email so I don't just delete it thinking it's junk mail. Dan DWLorraine@aol.com
