T O P I C R E V I E WmensaxCan you believe all those lucites that were for sale in this last auction? I've never seen so many, and such a wide selection of missions! Where did they all come from?I wonder what the astronauts would have thought about the fact that one day the scrapings off of their ship would be worth as much as the custom made medallions they carefully carried with them? It's been a long time since I have read the book "1984" but I seem to recall the main figure in that story aquiring a great deal of satisfaction in owning an item floating in glass. Maybe, it was a piece corral? I'll have to re-read that story one day.And the prices! Can you believe what those crazy people paid for those items?!! What fools!!!I bought two.NoahgliderpilotukOK - I need therapy too.I bought one!Paul BramleyfarthestreachesThe majority of those lucites came from a single source. He was the individual who was charged with producing them. These were those that he retained for his own collection.------------------Steve Hankowhttp://www.farthestreaches.commensaxThanks Steve for the information. It sounds like these lucites were "choice" items. Congratualations Paul! Maybe we can get a group rate?? Noah
